Drill head drive for earth drilling equipment
The penetration of the individual layers of earth, which are partly mixed with clay, coal and various rock layers, places high demands on drills and drives for earth drilling equipment. Rollstar's high-quality products are characterized by a low sensitivity to impact and are ideally suited for use in harsh conditions.
Various speed ranges or torques can be switched on with an optional circuit. This facilitates the penetration of different layers of earth. The gearshift can be operated either hydraulically or manually as well as under the power rotary head or mounted directly on the hydraulic motor.
Compact design and long service life
The robust and space-saving design of the hydraulic motors with shiftable planetary gears makes it possible to design compact systems. An important property and necessity, as space conditions are often limited in practice.
Appropriate application and regular maintenance ensure a long service life of the gearbox. This is demonstrated, among other things, by the periodic service operationswhich we carry out on the Rollstar units of our long-standing customers.
